South actress Kavya Thapar has been arrested by Juhu Police for driving a car while intoxicated and colliding with a passerby.  When the police intercepted the actress, she abused them and turned violent. At present, she has been sent to judicial custody. 

Kavya debuted in the Hindi short film ‘Tatkal’.  She modeled for many brands like Patanjali and Make My Trip.  After that, she forayed into South films. Her first Telugu film was Ee Maaya Peremito which released in 2018.  Kavya has also appeared in many music videos.
