Kaniz Balsara, Madhubala’s 96-year-old elder sister, who has been living in New Zealand with her son for the past 17 years, was forcibly put on a long flight from NZ all alone to Mumbai by her daughter-in-law Sameena. Kaniz did not have any money with her not even money for her RTPCR (COVID) test. In fact, her daughter Perveez wasn’t even informed about her mom’s arrival back to Mumbai instead Sameena informed a cousin.

How did Kaniz reach NZ? Kaniz’s son was based in NZ and he got his parents to join him there 17 years ago. His wife Sameena supposedly wasn’t very fond of them but he was a devout son and would take very good care of them.

After Kaniz’s husband passed away, her son still managed to take good care of her. Unfortunately, her son passed away this January. Sameena then bundled off the 96-year-old lady on a long flight back to Mumbai.

Perveez, Madhubala’s niece and Kaniz’s daughter, said in an interview that the first thing the lady said after her RTPCR (COVID) test was done was that “I called Sameena. But does she care? If she cared, would she have put a 96-year old lady alone on a flight which started from Auckland to Singapore to Bangkok to Colombo to Mumbai?”

Kaniz supposedly was noteven given her money and her jewellery.
