The blame game has begun. And, how! With the super debacle of Samrat Prithviraj, supposedly YashRaj head honcho Aditya Chopra is livid. He had an emergency pow wow with his lieutenants and discussed the why and wherefores of the flop. The budget of the film was 350 crores but the film unfortunately, didn’t look all that great as most of the VFX looked outdated and tacky. So where did all that money go, supposedly an irritated Adi asked?

Furthermore, supposedly, Aditya has been blaming Akshay Kumar for the flop of the film. In fact, supposedly, he has even questioned Akshay’s commitment. According to an inside source, Akshay was asked to grow a moustache for the title role which Akki  refused as he didn’t want to hamper the continuity of his other films.

The source also told us that Aditya was enraged that Akshay didn’t devote his entire time on this ambitious project,  instead was doing multiple films simultaneously.

Well, we think there’s something really wrong in the city of Denmark, as the great bard Shakespeare had said. Now that the film couldn’t even garner 100 crores, the blame is being catapulted around until it rests on Akshay’s shoulders.

Yashraj should realise that this was their second flop – Ranveer Singh’s Jayeshhai Jordaar was a super flop and now with Samrat Prithviraj doing so poorly in the box office, it’s time Yashraj pulls up their socks before they collapse under such debacles. Can Ranbir Kapoor’s Sham
