The IIFA event has been cancelled.

According to IFFA’s official statement: “Due to the UAE President – His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s unfortunate demise, UAE has announced a 40 days mourning period. The event (IIFA) has now been re-scheduled and will take place on 14th, 15th and 16th July, 2022.”

It was to be held at Yaas Island in the UAE. If you recall Ranveer Singh had been roped in to be the brand ambassador of Yaas Island.

IIFA apologized to its fans but since it was for unforeseen unfortunate circumstances, the event had to be cancelled.
