He’s the small kid from the very popular Ballika Vadhu now all grown up into a handsome 6 feet strapping young man. And guess what, Avinash Mukherjee is indeed one popular actor who is a fit and hit (currently seen in Sasural Simar Ka 2). We asked if his fitness journey is affected by the monsoons, Avinash says, “ Yes, definitely as the Mumbai monsoons are crazy, however, I make sure to not change my workout timings and have an active lifestyle. So sometimes, when I am unable to go to the gym because of heavy rains, I make sure to complete my workout at home by doing bodyweight exercises like push-ups, squats, and lunges as they are excellent to build your muscle strength. I work-out four days a week for 40-45 minutes and my workout is a mix of weight training and cardio.” On asked about his diet, he says, “I prefer a simple staple diet of veg, dal, curd, and jowar roti – dinners are generally grilled fish and steamed vegetables. I also make sure to have sufficient protein intake. As far as skincare goes, I drink a lot of water and I use Aloe Vera gel and of course, I maintain a positive attitude in my life”.
