Evelyn Sharma courted a bit of controversy by posting on her social media a picture of her breastfeeding her daughter Ava Bhindi.  Unfortunately, the ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’ star has met the wrath of some netizens for showing such personal images.

The model cum actress’ however, insisted, “I want to share my journey as a new mother with my friends and fans. It’s important for me to keep my social media personal and not just a work profile.”

While doing this, the 35 year old is also trying to raise social awareness about breastfeeding and its benefits. Many new mothers find it tough to cope with breastfeeding especially with cluster feeds so Evelyn wanted to let people know that they weren’t alone. Besides, she insisted that she didn’t see the point of people being shy about her breasts given that they serve the function of feeding the child.
