Bollywood director Ravi Adhikari who is all set with the release of directorial venture Karm Yuddh starring Ashutosh Rana and Paoli Dam on the shares his excitement by saying, “It was a great experience, working with one the best of the industry helped me bring out my best on set and it was a great learning curve also. Power struggle is all around us. When the hunger for power enters our relationships, it can cause ultimate chaos. This was the inspiration for the show.”

Sharing his experience working with the veteran actor Ashotosh Rana, Ravi says, “Working with Ashutosh sir was a dream. Since the time I started following Indian cinema and when we conceptualising the character, the only image that popped up in my head was Ashutosh sir’s . The show was set in Bengal and when you talk about Bengal, there are very few who are equally good or better than Paoli Dam so she too was an obvious choice for us.

Things have been bad for the film industry but the success of Brahmastra has perked up things. Ravi agrees and says, “Change is the only constant. The industry needs to change and adapt audience’s ever-evolving taste. Larger than life yet affordable content will always lead to happy faces in the cinema halls and also at the box office.”
