Trust Lalit Modi to grab eyeballs once again! In fact, this infamous, controversial (remember the IPL fiasco and some shushed up stories about his ‘scandalous’ liaison with a cheerleader who is currently the partner of a leading actor) businessman based in London just can’t stay away from the spotlight. After his ailing wife’s demise, Lalit did keep a quiet profile. But now, the maverick is back. Yesterday, he twisted Twitter like a giant twister when he announced that the former Miss Universe and Bollywood’s actor Sushmita Sen was his ‘better half’, posting several lovey-dovey pictures of the two of them.  Not only did this madly-in-love maverick announce on Twitter vociferously about his current relationship status with Ms Sen, he changed his DP and his bio on Insta to a loved up ‘couple’ picture of the two of them with a romantic brief on their current status. The pap’s, of course, went crazy and all the tabloids churned out stories claiming that “Sushmita Sen and Lalit Modi were married!’. Perhaps the buzz was too hot for the couple to handle, Lalit almost an hour later tweeted, “We are dating… not yet married but that too will happen.”  Though Sushmita Sen is rather quiet about it all – her social media seems to offer no clues and her brother too claimed, he was “pleasantly surprised” to hear about this alliance, there’s no stopping Lalit Modi. He’s tom-tomming his love for his lady love on rooftops. Remember in 2009, Lalit Modi’s impatient tweet to Sushmita Sen “Reply to my sms”? Well, looks like Ms Susmita Sen finally did respond and all’s super romantic in the Lalit Modi world.
