It’s called just desserts… At one point, KJo rather arrogantly chucked out Kartik Aryan from his film Dostana 2,  Dharma productions and his associates’ films. The reason, they whispered, was because Kartik had been rude to Karan Johar and the big Daddy of Bollywood definitely couldn’t stand impudence from the ranks especially from a boy who didn’t belong to his upper circle.

That’s it… the media rather vociferously drummed at high decibel… “Kartik Aryan is out of the industry.” Pyaar Ka Punchnama and Sonu Ke Tito ki Sweety catapulted Kartik into the world of high rollers and that they said, went into the small town boy’s head.

Supposedly, a botched affair with Jahnvi Kapoor had the young lady rushing to Karan Johar complaining about her former beau – she didn’t want to work with him any longer, she sobbed. Kjo who considers himself the big daddy of all the star kids took matter in his hands and sat Kartik down to get to the bottom of the matter.

 Kartik, however, was supposedly in a devdas mode those days and he told KJo to take a long hike in rather unprintable words. KJo showed him the door and supposedly, like the gatekeeper of the pearly gates of Bollywood, slammed the door on Kartik’s face.

That’s it, the pap’s sagely proclaimed, this young man is buried  six feet under, Kartik Aryan is over!

But guess what, with the super duper success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Kartik reined at the box office. The tables were now turned.

Kartik, not a man to forget or forgive, at an awards ceremony met a simpering KJo who walked towards him waving an olive branch. Kartik, however, completely ignored him and in front of all and sundry ghosted Karan Johar. And, how!  

They say, revenge is indeed rather sweet and so it may seem to Kartik at the moment, as for KJo… well, he just pouted and walked away in a huff.
