SanketLife 2.0 – pocket 12-Lead ECG monitor. This is a device every household needs to have in their medical box. Why do we say that? Well for one, we think this device is indeed a boon. The packaging is simple and efficient with no-nonsense frills – it imparts a message that it means business. And, how! We unboxed it to find that it is a compact key chain sized 12 lead ECG device without any wires and cables. A bit sceptical whether such a tiny device could be efficient, we (a team of two including a medical personnel) checked it out thoroughly many times ‘round. …And our verdict? SanketLife 2.0 is accurate to the ‘T’ and simply with touch captures your heart signals. The device uses sensor technology to do that. The nicest thing about this device is that it is not intimidating like the many wired and cabled machines you see at the doctors. So you do feel a sense of comfort while using it to take your ECG. What you have to do is: Download the mobile app, register your device and start taking your ECG. For that, you have to place your thumbs on the sensors for the single lead ECG and get the report on the app. For the 12 Lead ECG, you have to place your right thumb on the right sensor and the side sensor points (shown on the box) for 15 seconds each. The ECG report starts showing on the mobile app. We tried this and found that the 12 lead ECG monitoring is absolutely accurate. Besides this, it’s also paperless as it can be shared digitally with your cardiologist who can review via the app the state of your heart and advice a complete heart care solution in no time. Anybody can use it for regular ECG and heart rate monitoring as it is very easy to use. You don’t need any additional accessories like gels, patches or paper spools. It’s just a simple sensor touch way and is fit for any size of clinical practice.
Our verdict: Definitely, a double thumbs up! SanketLife 2.0 – pocket 12-Lead ECG monitor, manufactured and marketed by Agatsa Software Pvt Ltd, is a tiny key chain sized device (just weighing 100 gms) which accurately records your heart signals through touch sensors without any encumbering wires. It’s easy to use and like we said before, unlike other medical devices, is not intimidating. It’s a necessary handy device which should be kept in every house as it can be of immense help medically.
