Have you ever imagined how a house turns into a warm, loving, secure home? Bringing you the story of four young boys who move into their first house away from home, Lionsgate Play presents its third Indian Original series Feels Like Home, from June 10. Based on real and relatable characters, the series brings together a whirlwind of emotions and friendship, resulting in a hefty dose of ‘bromantic hangover’. Helmed by Sahir Raza, cast Preet Kammani and Anshuman Malhotra spilled the beans about their favourite spot at their houses.
For Preet, the bathroom is his think tank. “My favourite spot from my home has to be my bathroom. Well, it’s my think tank, my studio for riyaz (singing), my acting playground, and the mirror in it has my vision notes and post-it notes that remind me who I am and who I want to become. I get most of my creative ideas there, and it allows me to go crazy without my family and neighbours being worried.”
Meanwhile, for Anshuman, the kitchen is where his heart lies. “The kitchen has to be my favourite spot in the house. I have big, framed windows in my kitchen, and I love to cook with the spectacular view the kitchen has. Spending time cooking and eating is my favourite thing to do.”
Both Preet and Anshuman also shared views on how they would want their houses to be.
“I like subtle, pastel colours. I am a minimalist, and I love to keep it simple. I love handmade stuff, especially made by my mom and sister. My mom is a Crochet artist, and my house is filled with various articles made by her,” said Preet.
“I have action figures and a magic lamp (like Aladdin). There’s an action figure of Goku from Dragon ball – my favourite anime and character that inspires me to do better and work harder. And the lamp, well, I rub it sometimes, hoping the genie will appear and grant me my wishes for real. I like to manifest,” added Preet.
Meanwhile, Anshuman says he’s a nature-friendly guy and loves to have more greens and browns around him.
“I like to believe I am a very nature-friendly guy. My house has a lot of cream and browns, and I like it. I am very particular about big windows and balcony space and the area I live in. There should be something that I can see from the balcony, from the window. Baaki toh iss Bombay jaisi mehengi sheher me kucch bhi mil jaye,” said Anshuman.
The series also stars Vishnu Kaushal, Mihir Ahuja, Himika Bose and Inayat Sood. Directed by Sahir Raza, Feels Like Home, headlined by Preet Kammani, Vishnu Kaushal, Mihir Ahuja and Anshuman Malhotra, is set to release exclusively on June 10th, 2022
