He looks like a film star and can easily play the lead of any movie. But tell Bollywood’s foremost casting director Mukesh Chhabra  that and he avers, “I don’t like acting.” But being a casting director is his passion and he’s indeed extremely good at it.

 From a whole host of top banner good films to many web-series including ‘Sacred Games’, ‘Delhi Crime’, ‘Hostages’, ‘Family Man’, ‘Asur’ to now ‘The Great Indian Murder’, his casting has been bang on. In fact, people have been raving about the cast of the Disney Hotstar’s  web-series ‘The Great Indian Murder’. The intriguing show is peppered with familiar faces like Pratik Gandhi, Raghuvir Yadav, Richa Chhada, Paoli Dham Ashutosh Rana but the best part of the show are the fresh faces  especially Shashank Arora (Munna), Amey Wagh (Arun Deshmukh), Mani (Ekati) and Jatin Goswami who have done a marvellous job. But the credit should definitely go to the casting department for the casting has been bang on.

Recently, Midday nominated Mukesh Chhabra’s in the list of casting directors nominated for the best ensemble cast. Of course, we don’t really see too much competition here as Mukesh Chhabra seems to have cast for most of the foremost web-series and films in 202 till now.
