Coming from a small town, actress Deepali Saini has struggled day and night to reach the position she enjoys today. Talking about how it all began, she said that throughout her journey, she has made sure to make her own path.
“Coming from a small-town village Nanota in Uttar Pradesh and a middle-class family, our society was very narrow. With no resources, no proper guidance, and no family and financial support, I’ve made my own way since the age of 15. And trust me, I’ve made it so far and so good. It started off very randomly, through regional Haryanvi movies and in no time, I was awarded the best actress award for my debut film Asar since then there was no turning back,” says the actress, who has currently joined the cast of Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2. She has also been seen in shows such as Sajan Re Phir Jhooth Mat Bolo (SAB TV), Narayan Narayan (LEAD), Aapke Aa Jane se (Zee TV) and Badi Door Se Aaye Hain (SAB TV).
Deepali says that content on TV has evolved over the years. “The television industry is constantly growing every day in terms of video quality, big production, amazing storylines and serious family drama,” she says.
However, competition has increased, she says, adding, “Competition is very important in every industry which makes us work harder and improve our skills every time to reach the maximum content possible.”
While TV is a very time-consuming medium, Deepali says that she tries to make the most of her days. “It is very difficult to manage a daily soap. It eats up all your energy and time of the day. The shoots are for almost 14 hours, plus you are travelling to the set,” she says, adding, “I am a very hyperactive person who always loves to utilise every bit of her 24 hours a day. I make sure I get good sleep, and I am punctual at work. I love spending time with my pets and family and on weekends there is me-time, which makes life so balanced.”
