Abhishek Bachchan claims he’s a big fan of Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma’s ability to remain calm in pressure situations. The star cast of the movie ‘Dasvi’ Abhishek Bachchan and Nimrat Kaur arrived at the Star Sports studio ahead of the match between Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals to promote their latest film.

While speaking about Mumbai Indians’ five-time IPL-winning captain Rohit Sharma, on Cricket Live on Star Sports, Abhishek Bachchan said, “Rohit is a very calm and level-headed captain and has the ability to take the team forward in any situation. I being a spectator have this opinion about Rohit but the experts here who have played with him would be in a better position to comment. I just hope he steadies the ship for Mumbai Indians because it is a difficult season.”

When asked about which team according to him will end up lifting TATA IPL 2022 trophy, Abhishek Bachchan said, “This year all the teams are equal in terms of strength and it is very difficult to predict which teams will make it to the playoffs, let alone talk about the winner. Rajasthan Royals and Punjab Kings made interesting buys in the IPL Auction and look like a strong side. KKR last night were mind-blowing. But I’ll pray that Mumbai Indians win the trophy.”
