“Showing A Bull’s Life in schools will help teach children to be compassionate to animals at home or in their communities,” writes John Abraham. “Will you please consider taking steps to ensure schoolchildren, especially those in rural schools, across India are shown the video?”
The video, which is appropriate for students aged 12 and under, features an animated bull, who shows children that these sensitive animals are individuals who have thoughts and feelings, experience joy and pain, feel hunger and thirst, and enjoy being with their family and friends. The video also gives important lessons about caring for bulls, including their need for shade, water, and nutritious food, and encourages young people to consider humane, animal-free goods transport methods and to think critically about the use of whips, nose ropes, spikes, and other cruel tools often used to force bulls to haul heavy loads.
Abraham – the owner of football team North East United FC – previously donated an autographed football jersey to help raise funds for Animal Rahat.
